Health Systems & Implementation Specialist

Location: Remote (Global; Preferred: Sub-Saharan Africa or experience working within African health systems)

Overview:

At LunaVax, we’re not just developing new technologies — we’re building the delivery systems needed to make them work in the real world. As we prepare for the feasibility and scale-up of microneedle vaccine patch (MAP) delivery in underserved communities, we recognize the need for experienced leaders who can bridge innovation and implementation.

We are seeking expressions of interest from Health Systems & Implementation Specialists who can help translate product innovation into equitable access — by shaping delivery models, strengthening public health systems, and partnering with governments to drive sustainable immunization programs across Africa.

What You Might Work On in the Future:

• Design delivery models and rollout strategies for MAPs in collaboration with Ministries of Health and global health agencies
• Analyze implementation bottlenecks and recommend system-strengthening approaches
• Support integration of LunaVax technologies into existing immunization supply chains and cold-chain alternatives
• Advise on task-shifting models, workforce training, and last-mile distribution pathways
• Contribute to pilot evaluation metrics, health outcomes tracking, and continuous learning loop

We’d Love to Hear From You If You Have:

• 7+ years of experience working in health systems strengthening, public health delivery, or immunization programs in LMICs
• Deep understanding of healthcare delivery in resource-limited settings, especially in Africa
• Experience working with Ministries of Health, implementing partners, or global health donors
• Strong systems thinking, program design, and cross-sector coordination skills
• A passion for innovation and equity in vaccine access
