Overview:

At LunaVax, we’re reimagining how life-saving vaccines could reach the people who need them most — starting with microneedle patch (MAP) technology and modular manufacturing innovation. As our Vaccines Markets & Commercial Strategy Specialist, you’ll guide early decisions on market entry, demand forecasting, and long-term commercial viability to inform our feasibility studies and future launch planning.

Your work will help shape LunaVax’s go-to-market strategy from the ground up — ensuring that our innovations are not only effective but scalable, accessible, and globally relevant.

Responsibilities:

• Forecast long-term global vaccine demand, pricing trends, and competitive dynamics to inform facility planning and future commercialization strategy
• Analyze target markets, unmet needs, future procurement dynamics, and potential partnerships
• Conduct strategic assessments to support product positioning, commercial readiness, and market entry
• Contribute commercial insights to business plans, funding proposals, and technology transfer decisions
• Support due diligence efforts related to commercial viability and sustainability
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to align demand forecasts with facility design, production timelines, and product mix strategy to support scalable, market-informed investment planning

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in vaccine markets, pricing strategy, or commercialization (especially in LMICs)
• Proven ability to analyze global procurement trends, COVAX/UNICEF supply channels, and public-private partnerships
• Strong skills in market analysis, financial modeling, and strategic planning
• Experience working with biotech startups, early-stage products, or global health partners a plus

Compensation:

Competitive and negotiable based on experience and engagement level. This is a contract or advisory role with flexible terms. While LunaVax currently operates as an LLC, long-term participation incentives including potential equity upon corporate conversion may be considered for candidates aligned with our mission and growth strategy.
