Business Development & Partnerships Manager

As a Business Development & Partnerships Manager, you'll lead strategic relationship-building and fundraising efforts that fuel LunaVax’s mission to scale vaccine access across underserved communities. You will shape partnership pipelines, identify new funding opportunities, and collaborate with mission-aligned organizations like Gavi, WHO, and the Gates Foundation to drive measurable global health impact.

This is a high-impact opportunity to merge strategic development with global health diplomacy—accelerating the world’s transition to accessible, community-centered immunization.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure strategic grants, public-private partnerships, and funding opportunities
• Build and manage a robust partnership development pipeline across global health, government, philanthropy, and tech sectors
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as Gavi, WHO, UNICEF, USAID, foundations, and multilateral partners
• Lead the development of concept notes, grant proposals, and progress reports
• Collaborate with internal teams on proposal design, monitoring frameworks, and impact narratives
• Represent LunaVax at global forums, conferences, and partner meetings to showcase our innovation model
• Track donor trends and identify emerging partnership opportunities aligned with LunaVax’s growth roadmap

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, or strategic growth within global health, international development, or nonprofit sectors
• Strong written communication and storytelling skills (especially for grants and reports)
• Experience working with CRMs, grant tracking tools, or donor management systems
• Familiarity with vaccine access, public health, or last-mile delivery is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects across diverse stakeholder groups
• A collaborative spirit with confidence engaging senior-level partners and funders

Compensation:
Estimated range: $90,000 – $130,000 USD annually, depending on experience and location.
