Creative Storyteller & Communications Specialist

Overview:

As a Creative Storyteller & Communications Specialist, you'll help bring our mission to life, crafting content that moves hearts, mobilizes action, and brings visibility to our efforts to transform vaccine access. You’ll shape the voice of LunaVax across platforms, translate field impact into compelling narratives, and build community through storytelling.

This role is perfect for a purpose-driven communicator eager to use their craft to shift narratives around equity, health, and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging stories, blog posts, newsletters, and social media content
• Interview field staff, partners, and community members to capture authentic voices
• Develop multimedia content (audio, video, or visual storytelling) for cross-channel use
• Contribute to campaign messaging, grant narratives, pitch decks, and brand language
• Ensure consistency of voice and tone across all public-facing platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in nonprofit, global health, or social impact storytelling
• Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to narrative flow
• Familiarity with digital media, social platforms, or visual storytelling tools
• Portfolio or sample work showcasing creativity and clarity appreciated

Compensation:
Estimated range: $40,000 – $70,000 USD annually or project-based stipend, depending on experience and availability.
