Public Health Advisor

Overview:

At LunaVax, we’re advancing health equity by bringing innovative immunization solutions closer to underserved communities. As a Public Health Advisor, you’ll lead community-centered strategy, partner with health ministries, and ensure our vaccine programs align with local realities. Your work will inform how microneedle patches (MAPs), mobile clinics, and other delivery innovations are tailored, accepted, and scaled across diverse settings.

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape frontline public health strategy and strengthen systems that reach the last mile.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and rollout of local immunization strategies in collaboration with communities and health leaders
• Assess health needs and analyze data to guide implementation in resource-limited settings
• Co-develop outreach strategies, training materials, and policy briefs with cross-sector teams
• Support advocacy with national and regional health boards, ministries, and implementing partners
• Integrate community feedback into program planning and impact reporting
• Serve as a key liaison between LunaVax and on-the-ground public health actors

Preferred Qualifications:

• MPH (Master of Public Health) or equivalent professional experience
• Strong understanding of public health systems and immunization delivery in Africa
• Experience in field-based health work, humanitarian response, or local NGO partnerships
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and culturally responsive communication
• Ability to translate health data into policy, training, or strategy recommendations

Compensation:
Estimated range: $70,000 – $110,000 USD annually, depending on experience and location.
