At the heart of our LunaChain are six connected layers—each designed to bridge gaps and scale impact:
- Microneedle Vaccine Patches (MAPs)
Replace painful injections with stamp-sized patches that are easy to apply, store, and transport—even in low-resource settings. - Biometric ID Tools
Enable smarter patient tracking and continuity of care—especially where birth records or formal ID are missing. Reaching everyone means recognizing everyone. - Mobile Delivery (Vans + Drones)
Bring vaccines closer to families through flexible last-mile logistics that go beyond central clinics and health centers. - Data Visibility Platforms
Give clinics and partners real-time dashboards that track deliveries, stock levels, and system performance—making it easier to coordinate, troubleshoot, and respond quickly where help is needed most. - Traditional Vials, Reimagined
While our first pilot starts with microneedle patches, LunaVax is also laying the groundwork to manufacture and distribute traditional vial-based vaccines—building a system that supports both, so vaccines reach families in every setting. - Africa-Based Manufacturing
Localize production to reduce dependence on external supply chains and future-proof access.

Our First Layer: The MAP Pilot
Before vaccines can reach the people who need them most, we need to ensure the system is ready—from storage and delivery to clinic workflows and community trust. That’s where the MAP pilot comes in.
You can’t scale access without testing the system first.
Our initial pilot launches in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria, to evaluate the usability, logistics, and system-readiness of this next-generation vaccine format. This early-phase effort focuses on:
- Assessing community response to the patch format
- Testing storage, transport, and handling feasibility
- Integrating biometric tools for smarter tracking
- Piloting the process with clinics and pharmacies
While no live vaccines are being administered yet, this pilot is laying the groundwork for broader rollout and long-term integration.
